Is an analogue camera worth having?

aparat1_edited.png

At the time of digital cameras, less and less people make use of analogues owing to many reasons. Still, we dare say it’s worth wondering about older cameras’ assets. For a start, the crucial thing is the destination of a camera. For instance, if we want to do a  photo shoot of a family and need to take a multitude of photos and then pick the best ones, analog photography will not be an appropriate way. In this case a digital camera will be required. It arose from a high price of photographic films, which we cannot bother speaking of digital cameras. While films to analogues are not most cheap, the cameras are already. Therefore, even if it breaks, you won’t suffer heavy losses. The best plus point is the uniqueness of all the photos you take. You must be quite prudent and thrifty to avoid wasting the films.

Consequently, the photographs are deliberate, which enhances a chance of brilliant photo or even a piece of work. It is said it is good training before working on modern cameras. Various imperfections and a peculiar granularity guarantee an extraordinariness of photos taken by analogue cameras. This fact presents entirely differently in case of digital cameras, in which it is a drawback.

Subsequently, a slightly other side of analog photography’s strengths is that it's an amazing way of preservation the tradition, which our parents and grandparents practised. It might be just the manner of capturing the most memorable and lovely memories and then there exists an exciting element of surprise since we can see taken photographs only after a development, which can be for some people also a little bit oppressive; yet, we dare say it’s worth it.
